Current Projects and Leaks

Rusty, clogged pipe section with corrosion and mineral buildup visible inside.
Condition of old 4" water main on Pittroff Ave.

In an effort to  continue our water main replacement committment, we have begun the replacement of 800 ft. of 8" Transite with 8" PVC water main on West Parkview Drive.  We have had 3 water main breaks on that street and it is scheduled to re-paved in the fall of 2026 or the spring of 2027.

We have begun the process for the  re painting the Alvord St water tank off of Mulligan Drive by hiring a firm to determine if there are any code compliance upgrades need to the structure prior to painting. Following that, we will be partnering with Tighe and Bond Engineers to put a specification together with  planned construction in the  spring or fall of 2027 .

We will continue installing radios on our water meters throughout various locations in the District during the year as funds and time allow. The radios reduce meter reading time.

We will continue to paint our fire hydrants as time allows along with other maintenance items.  If you see a hydrant that needs attention, please call our office.
